A Time for Reiki

October 31, 2017

The Days of the Dead -  October 31 through November 2

All Saints Day - November 1

Samhain -  October 31 through November 1

These celebrations are a gentle reminder to honor death as well as life and to take the time to celebrate the cycles of nature.

Autumn is the perfect time of year to slow down and follow the cues that nature provides. Although the occurrence of death may seem like the end, we must view it as we view birth, a season in the natural process of life.

If you live in an area where the four seasons are defined, autumn invites warm hues to appear on the foliage, and animals will begin their preparation for cold weather and a scarce food supply. Then as winter arrives, it seems as if everything has stopped. Snow seems to hide, protect, and provide a safe place for growth so that the cycle can begin again.

Try to slow down and give your mind, body, and spirit, a chance to rest and heal. Embrace the natural cycle of life and celebrate the present moment instead of fretting over the past or the future. The progression of nature is an inevitable fact of life.

Ask yourself, is this the perfect time to incorporate Reiki into my life?

May Reiki and the Moon guide you wherever you are on your journey.
